Here is a new art video found on vimeo.com. The approach of this video, which is basically a sort of presentation, is simple and very effective because it captivates the viewer. 3 mini videos have been incorporated to tell the “story”. They are placed next to each other and they are synchronized to play one after the other to keep the attention of the viewer going.

This is a very effective way to convey a lot of information without losing the viewer. However, a gimmick only goes so far. After a couple of minutes, the refreshing idea of this presentation wears off a little.
Therefore, it is a good idea to switch regularly with images or other footage to keep the mind of the viewer alert. This has been done in the video, but I feel they haven’t done it enough.
Switching from time to time to an eye, ear or the neck would make it more engaging.
That said, this example is an art video in its own right, my suggestions are only for practical use of the technique and not meant as criticism of any kind towards the maker of this video.
